Our first trip was to San Antonio. There we had a wonderful time discovering a historic part
of Texas and each other. One of the highlights was the Riverwalk.
We decided to take the riverboat ride during the day and found the guide to be very informative. Later, we started our evening
with a romantic stroll down the Riverwalk. We continued the night by dining at Dick’s Last Resort. They had great food
and the funniest service (we paid to be humiliated). It was an interesting experience. We spent the remainder
of the evening visiting shops and enjoying each other's company. Time spun out and before we knew it dawn was breaking.
We went to the roof and watched the sun rise together in the hot tub. Here are the pics from our visit to Ripley’s
Believe It Or Not! Wax Museum, the Alamo, Dick's Last Resort, the Tower of The Americas Restaurant, and from our
morning dip on top of the hotel.
Our second trip was
to our state's capitol. We explored Austin’s beautiful landscapes, conquered Sixth & Fourth Street’s nightlife, and enjoyed an assortment of music and art.
We find ourselves returning every few months to unwind and enjoy this entertaining city. Each time we go, we meet new friends
and discover something new. Due to past experiences, we only have one rule: “What happens in Austin,
stays in Austin” and I’ll leave it at that. Here
you'll find a few pics of us dressed up and ready for Sixth Street,
as well as some pic's of downtown Austin.
